High School Graduation Requirements

Students must earn 24 credits in the required subject areas for graduation from Olive Public Schools. College Graduation Plan 4 units of English (English I, English II, English III and English IV) 3 units of Math (Algebra I, Geometry and Algebra II) 3 units of Science (Physical Science, Biology 1, or Biology II, Botany, Anatomy) 3 units of Social Studies ( .5 Oklahoma History, .5 Government, 1 U.S. History and World History.) 2 units of either Foreign Language or Computers 1 . . .

Money for College

     FAFSA is an application for grants, scholarships, loans and work study.  It is available online to make the process quicker and to avoid delays. You will have to reapply each college year so if filled out online you can avoid having to rewrite your information each year.  To help with this application please go to  www.startwithfafsa.org. This website has a video tutorial to help with filling this out.  The application is at www.FAFSA.gov. .  You can use last years tax return.

OK Promise (OHLAP)

     8th-10th grade students please apply for Oklahoma's promise.  Oklahoma promises that if you make average grades and stay out of trouble upon completion of the program's requirements, you will earn tuition at an Oklahoma public college or univesity.  All students must sign up on the link below by the end of your Sophomore year to be eligible.  Please sign up even if you are not sure about your future plans so you do not lose the opportunity of thousands of dollars of tuition. . . .
