Chance Batey is the Varsity High School Football and Baseball Head Coach at Olive High School. Coach Batey has an extensive history of coaching in the local community. As a graduate from Bristow High School, Coach Batey returned to his alma mater and has coached Varsity Football as the Assistant Head Coach and Receiver Coach as well as the Junior High School Head Baseball Coach for the past 6 years. Prior to that, he spent a year at Yale High School serving as the Defensive Coordinator for the football team and also served as the Varsity Assistant Baseball Coach. Coach Batey teaches multiple subjects, including history, sociology, psychology, leadership, and government. Coach Batey obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Oklahoma State University. He completed his Master of Business in Sports Administration and is currently perusing his Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Southern Nazarene University. He is interested in studying the effects of different leadership models on high school athletes. Coach Batey is an avid freshwater fisherman, who loves live music and spending time with his family. Coach Batey is excited to share his football and baseball knowledge with the students at Olive High School.
